Very nice one. I just went up from via di Vincigliate off road but you can also climb from Fiesole then via Bosconi an then Monte Fana from where you can find the path nr.2 which lead directly to Bologna. Well, may be Bologna is too so for now I just went run through this beutiful single track. After a first short climb you get into the wood from Poggio Pratone. It’s all sigle track and it is not particularly difficult.

Villa dei Bosconi

This Rides is very nice and with some climb in the Fiesole hills. The Elevation is about 908 mt but no so hard except for same short walls. Part of this rides will be on the roads of 2012 wordcup championship.
From Via D’annunzio you right climbin up the Maiano’s wall (very short) after which you continue climbing up to Maiano Farm. At Maiano farm crossroad continue stright untill Fiesole where you take a 3 / 4 Km downhill on the right at the roundabout. When you reach the Faentina road turn left and climp all the way up to Olmo where you take via Bosconi Fiesole direction. After about a KM you turn left toward Monteloro after 6/y KM of a fantasci road in the middle of the forest  you reach Fanna Montain. Then just go down back to Florence toward Fiesole or Vincigliata which is my best choice.

MONTE MORELLO: Sesto Fiorentino > Settimello > Ciliegio > Gualdo-Seppi > Sesto Fiorentino

Starting point: Sesto Fiorentino FI. If you are located in Florence city center you could reach Sesto Fiorentino by train an bring you bike with you. From the Florence central station it take just 10 min to get to Sesto Fiorentino. Sesto is just right down the Monte Morello

Monte Morello is the highest mountain surrounding Florence city. When you will get on top of Piazzale Leonardo Da Vinci you will get blown by the incredible view of the city from the highes point. Monte Morello is the perfect acrea for MTB bikers! It is plenty of off path and off road routes. This track below is just one of my rides I often do in Monte Morello. Once you get on top of Monte Mmorello you will be able to cycle basically every where without getting lost. Monte Morello offers a very tight signs that allows you to explore Monte Morello easily!

How to get to the starting point

BY TRAIN: Get a train from the main Florence rail station (Santa Maria Novella) to Le Sieci. It takes less the half an hour and with a couple of extra euro you can bring you bike with you
BY CAR: From ss67 toward Pontassieve. Once you get in  Le Sieci turn left before the Molin del Piano road and leave the car in the parking area.
